Alongside Vodafone’s Network Operations Centre, I recently shot the company’s shiny new Customer Experience Centre (CEC). Like the NOC, it is located at Vodafone’s Newbury campus, and was also designed by Platform.
The 400sq m CEC is a place where Vodafone can bring business customers, and through a series of interactive presentations and discussions help them to identify their communications requirements and suggest solutions.
There are lots of gadgets to play with, while the entire environment (lighting, interactive screens and so on) is controlled by a cool iPad application that was also developed by Platform. This means that both the appearance of the space, and what is shown within it, can be tailored according to the type of visitor.
