Alan Kitching at his Kennington studio
Here are some of the shots from my recent shoot at letterpress typographer Alan Kitching’s studio in Kennington.
I was commissioned by carpet manufacturer Milliken to photograph Alan at work, as well as some more formal portraits and shots with more of a Milliken focus.
The selection here are those that record Alan’s process. It was certainly very inspiring to watch him work.

These are great Gareth, insightful you’ve captured the character of the artist and in turn the character in artist’s work. Love your perspective & composition. Its clear to see that you were inspired.
