The Economist, London, chosen as an ‘inspiration’ in Building Design
The cluster of brutalist blocks, built in 1959-64 for the Economist in the heart of Mayfair, are featured as the latest ‘inspiration’ in Building Design magazine. The buildings were chosen by architects Tom Grieve and Hana Loftus of HAT Projects, best know for the Jerwood Gallery in Hastings.
Heavy rain failed to dampen our spirits, and there were a few sunny moments on the morning of the shoot, allowing me to dash around in a photographic frenzy to achieve the necessary portraits and architectural shots.
